CEREC procedure

The procedure to receive a CEREC restoration is straightforward. First, Dr. Le will assess your affected tooth by taking images using a state of the art dental camera, which will capture the shape and size of your tooth.

This image is then fed into the CEREC CAD program which produces a complete, high definition 3D model. This design is then wirelessly transmitted to the milling machine which carves a block of acrylic into the desired restoration.

Each restoration is color-matched to your existing teeth, making it so discreet that people around you may never know that you have had restorative work on your smile.

Once the restoration is ready, Dr. Le will secure it permanently into place, helping you to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.

How long will my CEREC restoration last?

CEREC restorations are extremely long lasting, and with proper care and attention could last as long as 20 years. You should ensure that you brush and floss your teeth daily, and attend all of your regularly scheduled dental check-ups.

If you require dental restorations, you may want to preserve the beauty and function of your smile. Or perhaps you have limited time for dental treatment and are seeking a quick and simple solution. If so, then our CEREC restorations may be the answer. Dr. Le and our professional team are proud to be able to combine the latest dental technology with our extensive knowledge, skill and commitment to patient care.
